"...shutters were from 35% cheaper to as much as less than half of what some of my neighbors paid..." Review of Bay Area Vinyl Shutters
Last updated 7 years ago
I bought a house in a newly built community in Japantown of San Jose, and was able to get some prices from my neighbors for what they paid for plantation shutters and Bay Area Vinyl's shutters were from 35% cheaper to as much as less than half of what some of my neighbors paid, and we all more or less have the same window configuration. Glen, the business owner, came and gave me a professional estimate and explanation of my options, and I chose the polyclad plantation shutters. Turn around time was about 4 weeks (their factory is apparently very busy), and installation was done by two guys in about 4 hours. All in all, my shutters look as nice or nicer than my neighbors' and cost way less, so can't ask for more than that! I've been somewhat abusive on a few of my shutters as I open and close those windows everyday, and the shutters seem to be very durable. On one window that I keep open, dust will collect after a week or so, and I simply wipe it off with a damp cloth and they're good as new.Tuan P.
